The young woman's hand has flown over her still flat belly, an instinctive, protective gesture that doesn't go unnoticed by the three creatures in front of her.

The smaller one steps forward, her voice the lilting one of a young girl.

"We can help you, but there is a price."

Sugeru, army leader of the land of the Volcanoes, guardian with Aelys of the heirs of the Dragon, knight of the lava and ashes, son of the volcano.

His scar is a reminder of the last time their land was attacked, an attack that saw the death of the wife of his chief under his guard. He swore he would protect with his life the children of his leader and has been doing so even since. With Aelys he makes a terribly efficient team and the two of them are protecting the country fiercely, two faces of a same piece.
