Lidjia "Miep" Visteien Miep is one of Baireï's protegée, she is his employee but he also considers her a little bit like his ward. He is more protective of her than of many of his people, greatly because she is a Pard and also because she is quite fun to have around.

A caracal Pard originally from South Africa, she travelled a lot: her parents emigrated to Australia when she was really young, then she moved to India during her teenager years to live with a Lionness teacher, Nalini.
Miep isn't a "good" girl and knows it, she actually even plays that card with some exaggeration, hiding under a mask of boastfulness and flirting a much more demure nature that was earned in pain. When she was a silly, flirtatious young adult, she decided one night for the kick of it to seduce her best friend's boyfriend, even if she realised what a bad, bad idea it had been as soon as it was done. Of course her best friend at the time, Jara, did discover it, broke up with her boyfriend and kicked Miep out of her life. Miep did try to apologise to no avail and less than two weeks later, the boyfriend did kill himself in a car crash. He had been drunk and texting Jara, begging her to forgive him as she was the love of her life. Miep was considered responsible (and with good reasons) for all this and left her hometown for India where she lived with her godmother and teacher, Nalini for several years. The weight of this guilt will be one of the things that will always stay at the back of Miep's mind, and influence a lot of her actions during her life.
The tattoos that adorn her arms and belly are actually a gift from Nalini and represent the labyrinth of the relation between her Beast and herself. She is very talented at shifting and even if she can't like some other Pards call on her claws in her human form, she can slide from one shape to another with an ease that many envy her and her control is amazing for someone so young (she is almost on par with a lionness for self control).

She is a spy and a thief, mostly. She is very talented at gathering information and stealing small, precious objects. Baireï made sure she was trained in recognizing what has real value and put her talents to good use when he met her. He also tried to teach her to defend herself but she is fiercely opposed to lethal action , something that Nalini recognised and nurtured: she will run away rather than seeking confrontation and if she can't seek on disabling her opponent rather than killing him.
She is a stubborn little thing and can't stay put in one place but for all her usual cattiness, she can have spurts of honesty and be a good friend to a very select few. She works quite well with her boss but not so well with Katy since she tried to grope our fave tomcat in front of his mate and ended up tossed from the second floor's window(don't worry, Pards do land on their feet too).

1: What is your full name?
Lidjia Miep Visteien
2: Do you have a nickname, pseudonym, or alternate identity?
Everybody just calls me Miep. Maybe it's because I tend to sound like that when I am in my other shape?
3: How tall are you?
1.72m

4: How much do you weigh?
56kgs

5: What kind of build do you have (are you thin, fat, gangly, muscular, etc.)?
I am slender, but that's is because I am mostly legs!
She lifts one leg above her head effortlessly and yes, she does have gorgeous, long, well defined legs.

6: Describe your hair. What colour is it? What style do you keep it in?
Reddish light brown with a bit of texture and reaching mid back. If I go to the sun too much I end up with deep orange hair and if I do not care for it regularly it tends to get quite dry and coarse so I treat it once a month with amla oil like Nalini taught me.
